Lee Smart

Lee Smart is a litigation firm founded in 1913 concentrating on the defense of individuals and businesses in all areas of civil litigation. In 2021 Flinn Ferguson Cresa was engaged by Lee Smart to facilitate the process of addressing Lee Smart’s space requirements with a lease expiration looming. Lee Smart engaged Flinn Ferguson Cresa and other consultants to strategically plan their space needs based on work from home trends developed during the COVID 19 pandemic. During the process the team developed space program iterations based on the results of internal surveys and management interviews and it was ultimately determined that Lee Smart needed 25% less space. Following a thorough exploration and leveraging of the market, the result was a lease extension and space reduction at 701 Pike Street. The negotiations produced significant concessions from the landlord to pay for the costs of creating a modernized and more efficient space, that fit the firm’s needs for the future.
